Full restoration took much longer. Most nations didn’t see a complete rebound until the late 1930s or early 1940s. The timeline varied by location. Some places clawed back faster than others. The United States is generally considered to have fully recovered by about 1939. That is nearly six years after the initial crash. The gap between survival and success was wide. And it was uneven.
